I have a client who needs to keep a print of their sent emails but if they print one which has a bcc recipient this is not shown in the print. Microsoft say this is by design, but my client may need to produce their documents in court and therefore bcc recipients could be important. If they save the email the bcc field is not shown either on the saved file. A printout with the bcc recipient written on by hand is not acceptable in court! Does anyone know of a way around this? Any help gratefully received.

While not the best solution, maybe "Print Screen" each e-mail and print them as pictures rather than files... or possibly include a print screen of the BCC and other recipients along with the printed e-mail.

If you print screen before you send there's no proof you sent with the bcc populated.

Could you simply:

Send and print the e-mail to everyone except the bcc:'s.

Re-send and print the email to only the bcc people but address them in the to: or cc: fields?

It's a pain and doubles the effort but at least you can see who the mail went to.

True, there is no proof if you print screen before you send but I believe he is looking to print messages that have already been sent to/from and he just needs to provide them to the court.

Thanks to everyone for the help - greatly appreciated. I will pass on the screen print idea to my client.
