Hello,

I am printing posters that are 24 inches wide by 36 inches high. These are designed in Adobe In Design CS3. After I print they won't print perfectly centered on to the HP Design Jet 5500PS printer. The top and left of the posters have much more empty space then the right and bottom section.

What should I do in order to get this poster to print perfectly centered? I even tried Center off of the Mac printing options but it didn't work.

Thanks for your help.

...your printer is a 42inch wide device, the data you send to it is how big, 24 inches?

...it is likely a RIP setting somewhere...

...the top is trimmed by the printer, so it will likely add on more (a default cut space) no matter what height you print at...

...can you include trim marks if it helps for now, and trim it out, that is the usual method for large format work...

...try sending the maximum width from indesign print settings the printer can handle, but to save much trial and error i would send with trim marks and cut it down...
