Printing Apple 16/1600 From HPUX 10.20

I am trying to add several Apple 16/1600 printers to my HPUX 10.20 print spooler. So far I have only setup HP printers with a JetDirect card. When I add an Apple 16/1600 either through JetDirect, SAM or remote printer script, the Apples just print blank pages. Does anyone know how to set these up or have a script that will talk to the Apple 16/1600???

These Apple 16/1600 printers are on the network and I can ping them. Any advice would be appreciated.
