Not sure if this is an access or dreamwearver question but... I need to be able to run a report, via an .asp page and then once printed not have those records show up the next time the report is viewed. I plan to set a query for the report but how do I pass the information from the report view to the database to change a table field so it will not show up next time the report is accessed. I hope I have not confused this.

Thanks
Bob

I do this by making sure that I have the WHERE clause that the report uses to select its records easily available and then I use that same Where clause in an Update query which I use to set the 'Reported' field from Null to Now().
( The Where clause mentioned above of course contains a Where Reported Is Null component to it. )

Run the update query using the DoCmd.RunSQL command.

( Remember to turn warnings off before and on after. )
