Can anyone please tell me what is the best way to print a list of groups that have permissions to certain folders on a NT4 server. Can is be done using the NT resource kit?

Thanks

There's a utility on the NT 4.0 resource kit called perms.exe. This will allow you to extract a list of folder / files that a group or user has access to.

Alternatively, there's nice little tool available called Security explorer. I can't remember exactly where I downloaded it from, but I'm a sure a quick search on google can point you in the right direction :)

there is also a tool called cals.exe which will print out a list of permissions on directories.
