Printer problem. :{

I have no problems printing in Word, Notepad or running a test page to the printer. My problem is that I can't print anything from the web. I thought it was because I had no color but the test page came out fine. I uninstalled and reinstalled the printer. That didn't work, when I try to print from the web the page comes out blank.

As a good guess you are missing a critical DLL registration. A terrific freeware tool to repair this issue is from Ramesh, MVP:

Bill's right. As strange as it may seem, everything but text printing is controlled by I.E. Fought this for weeks on a Canon Multipass. It turned to be a missing/corrupt dll.

I had a problem where I could not print from web pages. In IE "Page Setup" the Left and Right margines were set to something like 4.5 inches. The two together makes 9 inches which is wider than a sheet of paper, so I printed nothing. Resetting the margins fixed the problem.

Thank you very much for all the help. My mom is now happy and printing. I downloaded the fix and that didn't work. I happen to have I.E.6 Update service pack #1 and I installed it in safe mode. It wouldn't allow me to install it in normal mode because of the previous version. It told me to restart it. Anyway I installed it, rebooted and I printed from the web just fine!
