Printer operation cannot continue (very urgent)

hi there,
One of our clients using win2k and suddenlty cannot find any printer in his printer icon.
when he restart his computer then there is a message "The instruction at "0x7800167f" reference memory at "0x00650072". The memory could not be read. click ok to terminate or cancel to debug."
after i tried to start RPC service and printer pool service but cannot resolve the problem.
when i try to add the printer then i got message: "Printer operation cannot continue due to lack of resources. the print subsystem is unavailable"
its urgent. Please help to solve this problem,

You must be using Novell. We used to have that problem all the time. There was a thread here many months ago that give very detail fix.

I used to fix by going to printer folder, highligt add printer, go to file and select print preference and delete all the printer drivers and port. Then do into regestry, HKey_Local Machine, system, control, print and delete all the printer listen. Restart the print service and reboot.

I may forget a few steps since I've not done it awhile so you may want to search for the thread I mention.

I was trying to solve it by Ms KB instruction but really resolve it. let me try by yours instruction.
