I currently have 2 W2K machines that the icons in the printer folder will disappear periodically. The way that I am aware of this is when I try to print and recieve an error stating that the printer is unavailable. When I look in the printer folder in Control Panel all of the icons are missing. After rebooting everything is fine. I have scanned for spyware and viruses, but nothing was found. Does anyone have any suggestions or help? Thanks

Printer Icons Disapearing

The spooler service is stopping. Use Event Viewer to see if you can determine the cause. In the majority of cases it is a printer driver issue:

Did this work for you TL3? I'm having the same problem, but it's an occasional thing so, I can't check it now.
