Printer always lose connection

There is a HP LaserJet 4000 series PCL 6 in my Win98 and WinMe network place. I set it as default printer. But it always go to Use Printer Offline after one day or shorter. Every time when it happen, I need to remove the printer driver in that computer and reinstall it again via the network. We turn off the end user PC every day but not the printer server. Thank you very much for any help.

1) try to reinstall your driver by go to start menu - run and find setup.exe.

I encountered this problem too and after reinstalled it i can use and share my printers to all my clients without any headache.
