I want to print two pages of my report on one 8 1/2 X 14 legal size paper. I am designing pay checks that are 8 1/2 X 7, that includes both check and check stub. How, or can I, print two chwcks per page? Each check will be one page of the report and two pages need to print on one 8 1/2 X 14
sheet of paper. Thank You.

So you want 2 checks (not reports) per page.

That is easy enough

Create 2 sections in the details (A & B)

Make each section identical and use enough space to occupy 1/2 a page (suppress all headers and footers).

To make sure you start on a new page for each set place the following in the conditional "new Page After" for Detail Section B ONLY

WhilePrintingRecords;
not onLastRecord;

that should do it for you

Jim Broadbent,

Thank You Jim, That works great except I'm not sure I understand it. What is the "WhilePrintingRecords; and "not onLastRecord". I guess that is Crystal Syntax??? Where can I find an explanation of that syntax??

Thanks again, a bunch.

Tom,

Did you want 2 copies of every check? If Details A and B are identical they will print each check twice. If you want 2 different checks on each page you just make sure that your details section is big enough so that only 2 can fit on a page, and use the page footer to take up any slack.

Thanks Ken. I think I see what your saying. I think your saying to have one details section and make it big enough to fit two checks on a page??
