Hi.. I have the folowing routine in a program :

set printer to file c:\analitic additive
REPO FORM FISE_P FOR COD_CF = CCC .AND. PRE#'D' NOEJECT

Why the file analitic.txt is overwritten every time a report is printed on it .. I need to add report after report in this file and I see that the ‘additive’ clause has no efect…
Thank you

HI
USe the command..

SET PRINTER TO c:\analitic ADDITIVE

your using "file" may be creating the problem.

Hope this helps you :) ramani :)

Hi again.. I removed the word 'file' but the problem remained.. Is it something I have to disable somewhere?? The clause 'additive' should work but it just doesn't!!

Your expression does not have an extention.

SET PRINTER TO c:\analitic.txt ADDITIVE

Also enclose filename in "" if there are any spaces within the filename.

The Help file says - "To print a report, you must issue REPORT with TO PRINTER." HTH
