Hello,

I am working on a Crystal 8.5 Report that is used to access data from several different ODBC databases. The database location is set depending on which database the user is accessing at the time the report is run. I would like to be able to print a label at the top of the report indentifying which ODBC database the data is coming from.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

There isn't a ODBC field within Crystal to use.

How are you changing this database location?

"The database location is set depending on which database the user is accessing at the time the report is run"

It sounds like you're using VB or some such, try including such things in your posts.

You can pass values to reports as parameters, so pass along the location for display purposes.

If I've guessed incorrectly about the VB, please identify how the users are changing the database being used, and all other relevent tech info, such as the type of database.
