Hi All,
Sorry, newbie question I couldn't find in the FAQ.

I just want to print (onscreen) my stations defined on the PBX.

Similar to a LD 20 or LD 95 on a Nortel PBX.

Do you want a list of the stations, or an actual print of the station form with the button definition?

just the stations and ring names really, not so worried about buttons or class of services, etc.

A LD 95 equivalent would do great.

thanks!

Do you have a copy of Avaya Site Administration? It's the software program used to connect your pc to your Avaya media server.

no, I don't have any of that, just access to a terminal, I typically do 'display st 302' or whatever, and I just want a list of all the stations defined on the system.

If you've got a system printer defined, just type "list station" or "list extension" followed by "schedule" to print at the system printer. When the "schedule" form pops up, just hit enter to run immediately.

Submit those commands without the "schedule" first to view each one on the monitor. I forgot to ask you how many stations/extensions you have. What you're doing may be a waste of a huge amount of paper.

Go Green, Get Avaya Site Administration from your friendly Business Partner!!

I actually don't want to print to the printer, we don't have a printer attached. We have 300 or so stations.

I just want to see things on the screen.

It helps to know what model PBX you have and what ways you have available to connect to the PBX. If you have an older definity you may want to connect via serial, if you have a media server 8X00 series you could connect to the services port on the server from a network adapter in your pc with an ip of 192.11.13.5. Use a program like putty or tutty if you cant get avaya site administrator and ssh to 192.11.13.6 port 5022. You will need the username/password. Once connected the command to display stations is "list stations

With Site Admin software you can download the output to an electronic file for manipulation in Excel or some other program.

hey all,
thanks! These are all interesting connection options, but I only have the console as an option.

List station, that's perfect!!

thanks all.
