Looking for a solution that would map non domain computers (thin clients)to their assigned printer(s). I work in the banking industry that uses up to 800 thin clients (non-domain) and 100 domain PC's. The majority of the thin clients have a single thermal printer mapped to it and least two laser printers.

The script we currently use has been having issues since we migrated to a new print server, so it's mapping the same printers twice, one from the old server and one from the new server.

From I what I've been reading you cannot use Active Directory for non domain computers for mapping.

Any assistance will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Map by IP address instead of name.

Make sure port 9100 is available, and you should be fine, even across sites.
