I recently upgraded from Office 2000 to 2003, and in Excel, I used to be able to choose File > Open, and right clisk a file and choose print, without opening the file. Now I get a message that "The command you selected is not available from this shorcut menu" even though the command is there for me to choose. Anyone know what happened to that option?

Thanks.

I believe it's a bug

There is a work around. Same number of clicks. Choose file, Click Tools, Print

Me transmitte sursum, Caledoni!

Thanks. I also found a workaround in the Microsoft site. Windows Explorer - righ click - print seems to work too.

I had not searched for just the right phrase until after I posted.

Yes, Windows Explorer or any icon via Windows (in XP, not sure about 2000).
