I have created a report in Crystal 7 and I have distributed the report including all dll's. When I run the setup program on the client machine a) it does not place all shortcuts in the specified directory however the c:\program files\seagate crystal\distributed reports shows all reports. Therefore, I create a shortcut from that location and just place it on my desktop. Even though this is something that can be fixed, I was just wondering why it doesn't build a shortcut for me and only 2 of the 4 reports show up.
The second major problem is I get a PRINT ENGINE ERROR when I try and run the reports. I get this dialogue box that says
Print Engine Error
Error in File c:\Program Files\Seagate Software\Distributed Reports\New Month End Regional Sales Summary.rpt:
SQL Server Error
Any idea as to why this error is coming up. Thanks for your help.
