I need to make CR8 show only the duplicate records. In other words, the reverse of suppressing duplicate records. I have the records sorted. The records I want to show will be those whose id matches the record previous to it. I will have about 4,000 records but only a handful of duplicates.

You could use the Previous() function.

Alternatively, create a group that would
result in one record per group for non-duplicates
and two rows per group for duplicates.
Then suppress the group if the row count is less
than two.

Cheers,

That row count is fascinating. Care to demonstrate the code? I have a group created and I do have it suppressed except I need the logic involved for the line count

Insert a summary field that's function is a count(), that looks at every record, and that resets every time the group changes.
