Has anyone every set up a PRI that uses a telco provider that uses an IP based converter to provide a PRI.

For example I am using a PRI from Cox and the customer wants to switch to someone else so I was thinking that there might be an IP SIP converter that converts the SIP or internet signal into a standard PRI signal that then can be connected right back into the Avaya without having to make any changes on the Avaya. Plug and play.

Oh I forgot to ask , if you use a SIP provider which ones would you recommend. Looks like there are hundreds on the web.

Every time I have used one the appliance was supplied by the service provider usually a fiber optic connection. I would just start calling around to providers in the area.

Try GigTel. I get mine from Jenne Inc. they are very affordable a breeze to setup.
