I have a Definity Prologix Version 6. The customer wants to add a PRI. (Under System-Parameters, Customer-Options) It states ISDN PRI? N.

What do I need to do to add a PRI?
Can I just add a TN765 Processor Interface and create a data module? (Are there slots for this?)
Do I need any licenses?

Thanks.

First you have to get the ISDN-PRI feature enabled. I'm not sure if you can still purchase it on a V6 switch. The Prologix doesn't use the TN765 (PI) board. The function is built in.

So I can just create the data modules?

I'll have to find out to see if I can buy the feature.

Thanks.

killbox, it is less money to REPLACE the entire switch, versus adding that RTU. Try $25,000 for ISDN PRI, if they are even willing to still sell it (doubtfull).
