Hey guys,
can any one please post config to confgiure PRI line on cisco router!

What kind of PRI card/module do you have.. the config can vary depending on that.

I been just told that I have to install PRI line at one of our clients and I have to purchase 2800 series router so that we can also install IOS of cisco call manager express .can you please also suggest which one I should purchase and PRI card details. to be very honest I am very new with this so need little detailed help buddy .

what is difference between T1 and PRI. last week i configured T1 by configuring service module.

Is the PRI card the only module you need for this project? If so, I would recommend the NM-1CE1T1-PRI module as it can be adapted for T1 (or E1) operation quite easily.

The following Cisco link goes into good detail about how to configure one of these cards from scratch.

To answer your last question, a regular T1 contains 24 DS0 channels with each channel individually carrying its own signalling. A PRI consists of 23 B channels for voice or data and 1 D channel for the signalling state of the other 23 channels. PRI uses what is commonly known as common channel signalling (CCS). Both T1 and PRI are essentially delivered over the same Telco architecture.
