Our caller id dislays our tollfree numbner and corrected to display our name. This is for LD. Now I need to have our local caller id display the same thing however when local calls are made, it displys just "Tollfree Number".
I printed CLID and displays our tollfree number. How would I display the name of our compnay on local calls? Would that be with the LEC?

To my knowledge that is something that the Telco would need to do. You can send out the individual names but not a general name.

your provider will need to add a "dns" type entry to the ss7 table.. when a central sends a call to the answer point. that office pulls the name off of a nat database..

the site contact contacted local carrier and was advised I had to change something in PBX to send caller id...double checking.

check with a trac in ld 80 or enl msgo x in ld 96.. your sending clid, if i read your post.. calling line id is going out
