Preventing users from changing desktop preferences

Is there a way to prevent users from modifying the desktop preferences (screensavers, fonts, display settings)?

There are many ways to do this, but I find that the best way is to change the registry settings. Here is the link to regedit.com

Create a policy from the server. With the policies you are able to lockdown computers etc.

Goto Run type gpedit.msc
