Prevent user tampering s/w?

Does anyone know of any software that will prevent users from downloading? I have 4 student computer labs running win98 and need to prevent them from not only downloading junk, but also making changes to the machine settings.

You should try Folder Guard. It is user friendly and allows you to set permissions of drives, folders, and internet explorer from a list with either with check mark or an X. It is really good.

I agree...you can also set specific rights to allow/deny access to control panel items, display properties, device manager. It also will let you allow/deny access to running setup/install executables. It is definetly a program worth checking out. It's quickly becoming one of my favorites... Enkrypted
