Hi,

I have a combo box, the values of which are provided by a query. Is there any way to stop users entering free-form text and forcing them to select one of the options on the list?

Cheers,

Simon

Hi,

Thanks for that. I have "Limit To List" set to Yes but it doesn't stop the user actually entering the text. The combo is just a lookup - no tables are updated as a result of any event or value on this combo box.

Cheers,

Si

Simon:

You can't prevent them from trying to type in text but the Limit to List should pop up a message when they try to enter something that is not available in the combo.

Are they not getting that pop up?
