Hi Guys,

I have prebuilt 3 ds1 boards TN2464c.
Added them in circuit-packs and programmed trunks, ds1 and signalling groups.

If I 'list config all', it states that there are 'no board' in the slots that I have programmed and inserted the cards?

The PRI lines are not delivered yet, would I be correct in saying that I should still see the boards?

Thanks,
Rod

Hi 84Mike,

I thought so...I will the programming and confirm that I have added the correct suffix for TN2464.

Thanks for your reply.

Rod

2464's can only be used in "offer B" switches. "Display system offer". If your offer is A, you cannot use this board.

Hi definityandcmuk,

No I dont see any conflicts '#'

lopes1211,

just a bit of correction: this statement is valid only for u.s., and for us "the rest of the world" (location: 2) it doesn't mean anything.

Hi Guys,

I did a 'disp sys offer' and the Offer Category: A
This switch is in the U.K

We currently have 3 DS1 TN2464BP and are working fine. I have added another 3 DS1 TN2464 CP but I cant see any of them. I have tried everything i.e. remove programming, re-seating the boards.

A colleague thinks that I may need to reset the system?

I will let you know....

Rod25,

rebooting the switch may help eventually but it's a last resort. tell us your setup in more detail, especially what platform are you running. show display customer options, are you sure you're not out of capacity with ds1 circuit packs? and so on.

Rod25,

Check the dip switches, they are probably set to US (T1) standards.

BIS,

dip switches are of no use. the board should be available in the system with any dip combination selected.

can you put one of the CPs that doesn't appear in a slot currently occupied by a BP that is working?

Like dwalin said what is you capacity like for DS1 circuit packs? (look around page 6 or 7 on "disp cap")

Hi Guys,
Sorry I didnt get a chance to get back to you sooner...It was the jumper settings on the board. Once I set them to 30 channel, 120 OHM up they came.

Thanks again for all you help.
