I am trying to add a branch office to our current and only main office. We have two servers running windows 2003 server. Main server does everything for the office (AD, web applications, Exchange) Branch office needs to join and be a part of Mains Active Directory. Networks are NOT connected via lan or wan. I need to be able to connect these two networks via the public internet. I think PPTP is the answer, but I am not sure how to work with that and set it up, as I am not familar with it at all. Can someone tell me how to connect these two networks together using the two servers?

You could create a site to site VPN. Both locations would need internet access.
What kind of internet access do the sites have?
What do you have for firewalls at both sites?
How far apart the sites?

Both locations our on a business cable connection of high down and up speeds. We use a basic firewall within Routing and Remote Access on both servers. The sites are about 10 miles apart. The company does not want to pay for a wired wan to be installed, so public internet is our only option.
