PPPoE connection script

Hi, I'm just a minor VB coder some foundation knowledge in its scripting.

I wish to create a programme that will create (in Windows XP) a Windows PPPoE dialup connection that is then set as the default dialup connection and set Internet Explorer to then use this connection as "Always Dial my Default Connection".

Can anyone lead me in the right direction in at least automating the PPPoE connection bit.

Any useful links or tips in automating Windows would be great.

I know this can be done - i'm basically trying to create an ISP setup wizard (like AOL) that will create a DUN connection for the customer ....

Well, I for one don't know much about telephony. However, you might read up on TAPI and see if it does what you're looking for. If it does, and you need help creating and accessing objects in VB, post back.
