PowerVault ML6000 and SLES 10 sp2

Is anybody using a PowerVault ML6000 with SLES 10 sp2.
I am trying this and have a problem. The 2 tape drives are fibre and are connected to 2 fibre cards in our backup server.

When i do a dmesg it constantly say "Link UP" "Link Down" i have tried various builds Linux and i have the same problem. The emulex fibre cards have the latest firmware on them

I was just wondering if anybody else had this configuration working.
