PowerPoint XP locks up when trying to view clipart

there are two user accounts on my computer, an admin and a restricted user account. when i install Office XP and open up powerpoint in the restricted user account, the clipart window stays blank and the program locks up. it works fine under the admin account. tried changing the restricted user to admin but it didn't work. any help would be appreciated.

need to rename the user account & re-create the user profile.

i've never edited the user profile before...is there anything in particular it's supposed to say? also instead of renaming it should i just delete that user and create a new one?

i should have given more info. when u rename a user profile and shut down the system and get the user to logon again, the system will recreate the profile. the reason u want to rename rather than delete is that u would want to copy the files under My Documents, Favourites and any custom tempalte files that may exist under the old profile.

Ah...problem solved. it turned out that the proxy that the computer was going through to get on the internet was not letting powerpoint access the web to get clipart. turned it off and haven't had a problem since.
