Powerpoint saved as a web page displays firt a costruction type view in the browser, with a left column showing the slides, where the viewer has to press a button to see the full screen presentation.

Is it possible to save the presentation for web without this screen; like it were a pps for web?

I have searched this questino on the forum and it has some up many times, but I have not yet seen a reply. This possibly means there is no solution?

Does anyone know?

Try : save as web page - Publish -Web options - and uncheck "add slide navigation controls"
This should do the trick
Of course you will have to customize the slide show possibilities
Good luck

I tried this and it simply opens the same "prepresentation page" but you cannot do anything with it. It doesnt open in the presentation mode. It is a step in the right direction to have no navigation window, but I need to be able to skip this page alltogether:-S

Thanks:)

Welcome to Tek-Tips!

I'm afraid I don't have a solution to your question, but I would offer some advice if you don't mind.

It appears your question was posted late Thursday (I don't know where you're posting from, so that's just a guess).

Anyway, that essentially means folks have had only one day to find/offer a solution. How about giving them most of next week and see if the responses get better.

Hope this helps!

Tim

riddles70,

powerpoints save as a webpage / publish to web gives various options, but often 'not the one you want'

There is an add-in for powerpoint from fellow mvp Steve Rindsberg that allows you to customize the output of powerpoints html. including (me things) a full screen option.

see PPTools PPT2HTML
