I've put together a nice presentation and packaged it to CD using powerpoint viewer to display it. I was ready to send it to clients when I tested it and found a major problem - I couldn't run macros from the hyperlinks. I used the macros to print slides.
So on to plan B - I reworked the hyperlinks to open pptview.exe and called a separate presentation (with only that slide in it) with the /P option to print it (pptview.exe /P presenation2.ppt). All of that was futile - the viewer won't call executables either.
So what's plan C? I don't know - I thought of trying to write an web page that would print a jpg file (that's what I want to print) and hyperlink to that. However, that seems extreme. Surely there's an easier way.
I simply want to click on a link and print a slide in powerpoint viewer. Any ideas?
