Powerpoint slide show to second monitor

Have a w2k pro set up with a primary monitor and a nvidia dual monitor card. I would like to run a powerpoint slide show continously on the second monitor and be able to run other applications on the primary monitor. I have found the way in Powerpoint 2000 to send the slide show to a second monitor but when I take focus off powerpoint to use another app the slide show will stop/pause. Can anyone offer any suggestions?

The problem being is that powerpoint application is actually running on the default primary monitor and all your doing is dragging the presentation to the second monitor. what happens if you try running it the other way round ie the presentation on the primary monitor and open anouther application on the secondary.
