I have a powerpoint presentation I'm trying to open from a hyperlink on a web page. The presentation opens on any computer running Powerpoint 2000. It will not open on a desktop running Powerpoint '97. I have saved a '97 version and the presentation will still not open. The page appears to load but then it opens and closes without logging an error message. If the user saves the presentation to their desktop, they can then open it. (They save by right-clicking and using "save target as".) Can anyone offer any explanation and resolution?
