Hi,

Would anybody know if there is a way that the 8 colours in the colour palette in PowerPoint can be extended say to hold 10-12. For e.g, the first line of colours has 8, I'm aware on how to change these. Below this another line appears of most recently used colours. I need to have just 10 colours available but unfortunately I have about 16 of which 4 are unwanted. If this is impossible, would anyone know haow to clear recently used colours?

PS, these are the colours specified when you right click on a slide, Background, etc

Thanks

rklalli,

The standard palette in powerpoint is fixed at 8 colors, the 2nd row is just the "last used" 8 colors.

The best info I know on color palettes is here

If it's really crucial to have more colors and have full control over the palette, then consider an 'add-in' that does just that

(not free - but great)

Cheers
