I have been emailed a Powerpoint presentation that I would like to remove the audio files from to keep for another occasion. I have to click an icon to hear a .wav file but I want to save the wav file to my HDD.

Is there an obvious way to do this? Thanks for any help.

With you presentation open go to File, Save As...

Select 'Web Page' from the available formats and Click Save.

PowerPoint will save the file as .html and it will create a folder with all files associated with the Presentation

Your audio file will be located within this folder.

Thanks for that help xlhelp, but it won't work. The file won't let me save as HTML or a webpage, it is not highlighted as available. Can only File, Save As standard file types. Is there any other way?
