I am having a problem with a powerpoint I am working on. I need it to play a midi sound and when I publish it to the webserver it will not play the sound because it points to an internal server not the same file on the web server.
I am running Windows 2003 servers I have a internet server that sits on the DMZ so it is not part of the internal network. The files are copied from the file server internaly to the internet server using frontpage. I have read that powerpoint links to the sound file if it is not a wav file. I need the file to stay a midi file. I have tried changing the path to the file several ways. Notepad to open the powerpoint I was able to find the path to the file but when saved the ppt does not work. I tried using the Microsoft Script editor builtin to powerpoint and it just changes the path back to what it started as as soon as I try to save it. I have also tried the copy to CD option in the file menu then copying to a folder and keeping the folder paths the same and that did not work either. I really need this to work any help would be great.

Thank you very much that worked perfectly. I had tried to save as a web file but it was defaulting to MHT I didnt see the HTM option. Thanks again.
