Powerpoint 2002 blank transition page

When viewing a slide show in Powerpoint2002, some slides show an extra blank slide after the transition of certain slides. For instance, when Slide4 transitions to Slide5, it pulls up a blank slide, and then it transitions to Slide5. We have no blank slides in our presentation, and it doesn't happen every time, just most of the time, very random but annoying. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!!

It is because all item on the next page are set for an action in the custom animation, and are waiting on the mouse click. Try making sure at least one item on that slide is unchecked on the animation settings.
