Someone within our office has created a health and safety power point slide presentation in office 2000 which has various links to other slide shows. The problem we are having is that the individual slide shows are working fine when you run them on there own, however when you run them within the original slideshow (from the link) the slides with not move on press of the mouse button.
I have tried the automatic timing of the slides and this works fine however this is no good to us as we need to let the viewer move the slides at there own pace.

Can any one advise as to what we may be doing wrong here for the slides to work on there own but not within the mater presenation.

Thanks

Craig

Craig,

it could be that the "linked" presentations are taking on the "setup" of the "master presentation".

Take a look in
slideshow menu > set up show > and make sure the "mode" settings are all the same

e.g.
- kiosk
- or presented by a speaker

This is great and is working brilliantly now. I do however have one more problem you may be able to help with.
On the master slide we have an image which we want to link to a PDF. This is easy enough to do however each time we click the link, the pdf opens and then closes straight away. Can you advise why this may be? I thought it may be something to do with the presentation however im begining to think otherwise now.
Any advice would be helpful.

Thanks

Craig
