Power Options: any way to add more timing choice?

The default is after 1, 2, 3, 5, 10 ...

Any way to add something like after 6 min?

Powercfg /? in XP from a Command Prompt might give you something to look at as it appears more granular. Try it in XP, it seems to work if my memory serves me correctly.

powercfg /change does not seem to have any effect.
 
I meant that using /change scheme /monitor-timeout-ac 6 does not add a 6 min. The field just become invalid/blank
 
Is this what you used?

POWERCFG -Change -monitor-timeout-ac 6

Are you rebooting after making any changes?
