I am trying to find out what version of BIOS I am running on a Shuttle PC. I can't seem to get the POST screen to come up. In BIOS the Quick Power ON Self Test option is enabled. So I disabled it. No effect on POST Screen. Any suggestions appriciated.

At any time during boot (when the screen is black and white), you can press the "pause" key and stop the boot-up. Press the spacebar to continue. Put your left hand (finger) on the spacebar, and your right hand (finger) on the pause key, and alternate until you stop on the screen you need. An alternative is to download the program "Everest Home", and find out "everything you ever wanted to know" about your computer.

If it is a Shuttle board, there should be a couple of stickers on it, one being the serial number and another one. What are the numbers/letters on your stickers?
