I have an unusual question. I want to run a program/script after the execution of job. I would like to know how i can find out information about the job during the post execution. IE Tape, Job Type. Anyone written any utilities or anything that i can use to determine what log i am using or the job i was using so i can go parse the log to extract some key information.

In the end i hope to be able to determine what tape i was using and whether or not it was a full backup or not. If it was a full backup then i would like to run a script to make TAPECOPY duplicate the tape. This way i can have a copy of the tape onsite to do restores. I am not going to use RAID TAPE because i only have 2 drives in my library and need them both to do my weekend backup.
