POS Display unit

Has any one implemented POS(Point of sale)in Ms Access if so how is the POS display used. I can use a bar code scanner and a receipt printer. I have purchased the PD2100 Display unit and I want to use it for customer display but I.m not succeeding yet.

Are you using the ActiveX OPOS Components? There is one for the Pole Display. The OPOS Standards can be found at:

I write a Point of Sale application with Access. I have a question for you:

What sort of functions are doing with the Printer? I'm having trouible with some of the error handeling with my epson. It fails to kick the cash drawer out intermitently, say after 3000 kicks. It won't come back on without either, unpluging the printer, logging of the user of the computer, or restarting the computer.
