HI GUYS
Where can you lock down the port settings on a version 9.5
For example i want to lock down the c-lan to 100 full duplex. I was told to do ch ethernet. But this command does not seem to exist.

The command it "ch ether" Either you don't have the right login to make the change or the clan is not "on" in
"ch ip-inter" Is the clan the only ip device you have?

In the future everything will work...

The c-lan board is currently working. I was told to check to make sure the port speeds where the same as what the far end switch is set to. I am logging in as craft.

You may need the dadmin login...

In the future everything will work...

I have just logged in as dadmin and got the same result. I also not do display ether.

I haven't the slightest why you can't do it. They may have given you a dummy dadmin and restricted the ip portion of the login.

Do a "list logins" and see if dadmin is at craft level. It should read
Login Service Status
Level
dadmin dadmin active

In the future everything will work...

the command change ethernet is not available in r9.5
it is in r10 and above.
in 9.5, you'll only have 10/half.

Do change ip-interface xxxxx, where xxxxx is the card address of the clan.

Within this you can set the ethernet options.

PBXTech, you need a TN799DP to be able to do 100/Full

TN799C only supported up to 10/half

When i try the ch ip interfaces command i get hte following:
Eth Pt Type Slot Code Sfx Node Name
y C-LAN 01C02 TN799 C switch

Subnet Mask Gateway Address Rgn
255.255.255.0 xxx.xx .0 .1 1

ohyes, TykeUK's command works in CM2.0 and later where you use the cha ip-i command and the board location. Before CM2.0, i.e. CM1.3 down to Definity 9.5, you see what you pasted. You don't use the board loaction on the end of 'cha ip-i'.

Thankyou guys for your help.
