Set the spanning tree to use portfast, it is in the help.
Only do this on ports connected to PCs, NOT to ports where other switches are connected.

on the interfaces put in " switchport host" , this will shut off channelling, trunking, and turn on portfast . You can use the interface range command to apply it to all interfaces that are "not" connected to other networking gear , user ports only.
