Having problems with gig ports on my 2950T 48port switches going into error-disabled state? the port is configured as an trunk port. It has to be shut/no shut in order for it to be cleared.

What is the reason for the error disabled state? It should be logged either is syslog or in the switches buffer (either of which need enabling...). By default all Error Disable causes are enabled. Once you know the source then investigate that. You can enable error disable recovery so that after a set time the port is re-enabled, but you should really fix the cause...
