Wonder if you can help please. Using ICS in windows 2000 advanced server and running ICS is it possible to port forward on a range of ports using one rule say forward ports 6000 to 6999 to say 192.168.0.1 or do you have to have one rule for each port ?

Thanks in advance.

Thanks, its a friend of mine the setup is basically as this.

DSL modem -> 2000 advanced server

Server running ICS to 3 PC's and one Playstation 2 with a static IP address. need to open a range of ports to allow for incoming voice communication on the PS2

Ill have a look see

Thanks I have read that already, that covers opening one port what i would like is one rule to open multiple ports e.g 6000 - 6999 on one ip address. as reading that, that would imply on rule for port 6000, one rule for 6001 etc etc

Unless of course i have missed something

Sorry Ali,
But everything I have looked at points to ICS not being able to support this kind of function. Almost every PS2 support page (that I looked at) says not to use ICS. The only thing I could recommend is to look at either getting a dsl router/switch. Otherwise you would have to configure individual ports for the entire range (it would be nice if there was a batch command for this to make a script but I couldn't find one).
