It depends on what device is residing in front of the server. If you have a load balancer then yes you can forward port 443 to a different server. The same does apply to firewalls. How are you trying to accomplish this? Firewall, load balancer, webservers?
I am trying to do this with a Firewall, I have been looking to upgrade to another firewall maybe a Cisco or Sonicwall that has this capability. Or do you have another solution in mind.

1) Capability of directing traffic to another system using HTTPS
2) You cannot have a webserver reroute traffic based on host headers in this case because the headers are encrypted. The only means is either using a firewall or load balancer which does not inspect the headers.
