Hello, I'm somewhat new and young and childish .
Anyways, I currently use charter as my cable provider, they supply a cable connections, currently ip 24.185.xxx.xxx
anyways...

this cable modem leads to the router, of course, and I'm within a 10.10.10.xxx nat in my home.
I am 10.10.10.4, and (I know its cheating) but using the gui interface/browser.
The router is 10.10.10.0, and other computers have similar ips. When I (inside or outside the network) try to connect to *my* computer, I cannot, unless I type in my ip of 10.10.10.4 inside of the network, which means no portforwarding is happening.

When I try to connect from outside the system on port 5000, it leads to the router configuration username/password.... It SHOULD lead to my webserver..

Please tell me if I need to explain anything better.
Thanks for the help :)

You need the router to foward the packets to the correct IP.

ip nat inside source list 102 interface Dialer1 overload
ip nat inside source static tcp 10.10.10.100 80 interface Dialer1 80

access-list 102 permit ip 10.10.10.0 0.0.0.255 any

Adding these enties to your config will send incoming port 80 packets to 10.10.10.100 (the address of the web server).

Post your config and clarify "try to connect to *my* computer"

Oh by the way, NAT is not cheating!!!
