popup on reports

i have crated a switchboard front end for a project on Access 2000 but when i want it to open a report preview it appears in the background, with the switchboard on top, this occurs with froms, but you can edit the properties to be a popup so it appears on top, this option is not available for the reports, is there a way of making it appear on top of the switchboard. It would be preferable to change the settings on the report rather than on the switchboard

It sounds like your switchboard form's pop up and/or modal properties are set to 'yes'. Make sure they are set to 'no'!!

I go one step further and set the form's visible property to false when I open a report in print preview. The I use the report's on close property to set the form's visible property back to true.
