Hello guys im really struggling with this i need your help.

I am tryign to setup a Cisco 1801 router to port forward pop3s and imaps as well as a secure website.

I have a windows 2003 server with exchange and i want to port forward SSL pop3 port 995 to the outside. I added a NAT rule to port forward port 995 to outside but when i try to connect to pop3 it will not connect

Ive also tried to port forward 443 to that same machine and 995 with success.

I did forward port 25 to the same machine and i can access the smtp on it.

What should i do? Do i need WebVPN (i dont want to use any kind of vpn server i just want a passthrough)

Thanks for your help

ip nat inside source static tcp 192.0.2.224 1723 xxxxxx 1723 extendable

This is my nat config. If you need more tell me.

Basically when coming from outside the office those ports are forwarded perfectly. But when i am inside the office and try to access the outside address I get the router not the forwarded port.

Why not setup DNS internally to take care of this issue?

I did not think of doing that. THanks for your reply. Im going to do that. That will fix my issue.
